10% Environmental discount for electric cars
In an exciting collaboration with Storebrand, Aimo Park introduced a 10% environmental discount for all Norwegian-registered electrical cars in Kvadraturen P-hus, June 2023. This was both a correct and important step towards a greener urban mobility city. We have since then introduced this environmenal discount on several other facilities, owned by Storebrand Property.
Environmental discount increases the share of electric cars
Environmental discounts have been a major economic driver for accelerating the transition from fossil vehicles to electric cars. We want to encourage our customers to a more sustainable transport and therefore give a 10% Environmental discount to all electric cars parking in selected facilities (see overview below).
Since we introduced the Environmental discount, the number of electric cars in our facilities has increased. If we take Kvadraturen car park as our starting point, 54% of the cars were electric cars in March 2024, an increase from 40% previous year. Kvadraturen P-hus plays an important key role in our efforts to minimize the environmental impact associated with city traffic. The feedback we have received from electric car drivers and other stakeholders has been very positive. We are actively working to include more of our parking facilities in the future.
Automatic discount system
Aimo Park uses a seamless and customer-friendly camera technology that is integrated with the motor vehicle register that identifies electric cars and gives an automatic discount to all Norwegian-registered electric cars.
As long as you have registered the licence plate number of your electric car in the Aimo Park app or the Easy Park app, you will automatically receive a 10% Environmental discount as an electric car when you park in our facilities with an introduced Environmental discount system.

Kvadraturen

Lysaker Torg
